You can't help but think about about what you want for a new year once it arrives. 2010 to me is a year of good. I'm getting married. I will have my Associate's Degree by summer. We are getting a new puppy in a few weeks. I have a yarn room/office that I desperately needed to really make something I would use. I'm closer to my family and friends now that Eric and I have settled into our house. So, I decided to inventory and organize my yarn. This will be my year of knitting selfishly. Not just for me but for who, how and when I want to...
So, I have 700 skeins of yarn in my house. Wait! 700? 700 freakin' skeins? You'd think I would have a ton of finished or even started projects. Nope. To top it off, I belong to about 4 clubs that are still going to be arriving at my house at various points in 2010, AND I have a serious addiction to [ESK!][1] I mean, just yesterday on New Year's Day, I hit the 1 mile mark, not that is so hard, but I have 700 skeins of yarn. lol
So, this year, I'm going to be a puppy mom, wife, graduate, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, student, knitter who is going to have to figure out how to roll around naked in my Malabrigo without freaking out the dogs.

Congratulations on all the wonderful things 2010 is bringing your way! I'm happy for you...and if you want to unload some of those 700 skeins of yarn, my bins aren't totally full yet!
